 Flapjack

Ingredients:

  • 300g butter.
  • 100g (1/2 cup) brown sugar.
  • 500g (5 cups) rolled oats.
  • 8 tablespoons of golden syrup.

Method:

  • Preheat oven to 180˚C.
  • Melt the butter, golden syrup & sugar together over a medium heat.
  • Add the rolled oats & mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a 20cm square baking tray. Press down the mixture firmly.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes minutes.
