Creamy Garlic
Prawns
Ingredients:

30g butter or oil
-
6-8
cloves of garlic finely chopped
-
250ml thickened cream
-
1kg large green king prawns (peeled
& deveined, leaving tails intact)

2
tablespoons white wine
-
1
tablespoon lemon juice
-
2 tablespoon of fresh
parsley
-
1 teaspoon of crushed pepper
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
Method:
-
Combine, lemon
juice, wine, salt & pepper in a bowl.

Heat butter or
oil in a heavy frying pan & add prawns &
lemon juice mixture. Cook until they are
just pink.

Reduce heat &
add cream.
-
Garnish with
parsley.

Serve on a bed
of
rice & crusty bread.
You may also wish to marinade the prawns prior
to cooking. To do this, place prawns, lemon,
wine, garlic, salt & pepper in a bowl, cover &
refrigerate for 1 hour. Heat oil & add
prawn/marinade mixture & cook until prawns turn
pink. Add cream & stir through for 30 seconds.
