Ham sandwich

Serves 4
Ingredients:
-
8 slices of bread.
-
100g thinly sliced ham.
-
Butter (at room temperature).
-
Salt & pepper to taste.
Method:
-
Butter all slices of bread on one side.
-
Place a layer of ham on one slice of
buttered bread.
-
Season with salt & pepper.
-
Place another slice of bread on top & press
down gently.
-
Cut in halves of quarters.
Optional extras:
-
Cheese slices (Cheddar & Swiss cheese go
well).
-
Cream cheese.
-
Mayonnaise.
-
Mustard.
-
Half an avocado, mashed.
-
Coleslaw.
-
Alfalfa sprouts.
-
Salad (lettuce, tomato & cucumber go great
with ham).
-
Cheese & salad.
