How To Clean A Burnt Pans
Method one (salt):
Add 2-3 cups of water & 1-4 to 1/2 a cup of salt
to the pan (you may also wish to include a slice
or two of lemon).
Bring to the boil. Remove from heat & let the
pan sit overnight with the salty water.
Wash by hand, removing the residue.
Method two (washing powder):
Add 2-3 cups of water & 1-2 cup of biological
washing powder.
Leave to soak overnight.
Wash by hand, removing the residue.
Method three (Coca Cola):
Add 1 can of Coca Cola to a pan & soak
overnight.
Wash by hand, removing the residue.
Method four (Coca Cola):
Add 1 can of Coca Cola to the pan.
Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20
minutes.
Wash by hand, removing the residue.
Method five (Baking soda):
Sprinkle a thick layer of baking soda over the
bottom of the pan. Add a small amount of water
to make a paste.
Leave to soak for 30 minutes.
Wash by hand, removing the residue.
Method six (vinegar)
Add 1 cup of water and half a cup of brown
vinegar.
Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20
minutes.
Wash by hand, removing the residue.
