Cleaning Make
Up Brushes

Make up brushes need regular cleaning to remove
dirt, bacteria, dead skin cells and oils that
they pick up from daily use. Brushes should be
cleaned once a week, it is a simple task only
taking a few minutes. Make up applied with dirty
brushes doesn't go on as smoothly, and worse
still, an unclean brush can transfer bacteria to
the face leading to skin break outs & eye
infections.
There are
products on the market to clean your brushes
with, or you can use shampoo or baby wash to
clean them.
How to clean make up brushes:
-
Run
brushes under warm water.
-
Squeeze a
small amount of shampoo or baby wash onto
the brush & gently rub in, making sure the
shampoo is well worked in. Be careful not to
damage the bristles.
-
Rinse
well, until the water becomes clear.
-
Squeeze
out excess water & allow to thoroughly air
dry before use.
