Keeping Ants Out Of Pet  Bowls

1) Empty out any contaminated food & thoroughly wash the bowl in hot soapy water. 

2) Clean the floor where the food bowl to remove any food debris & ants.

3) Find a large dish which is wider than the food bowl & fill with water. Place the food bowl in the container.

Pet bowls should be cleaned daily, if you are still having problems with ants in the area it is worthwhile either calling out a pest controller or trying to find and eliminate ant nests. For more information, click here.

Some pet shops sell bowls with a trough around the outside to fill with water & deter ants.

Do not use insecticides around eating areas pets use.
