Roasted garlic

Ingredients:
1 head of garlic. 2-3 teaspoon olive oil.
Salt & pepper (optional).
Method:

Preheat oven to 400C.

Peel off the outer layer of skin covering
the entire head of garlic leaving the inner
skin that surrounds each individual clove.

Slice the top off the head of garlic to
expose the cloves.

Place on a piece of aluminum foil, drizzle
with olive oil, season with salt & pepper if
desired, wrap up & place in oven.

Bake for approximately 30 minutes until the
cloves are soft.

To serve, separate head into cloves &
squeeze the bottom of the clove.
Uses:
-
Rub onto crusty bread or crackers.
-
Add to stocks, sauces & dips.
-
Squeeze into mashed potato.
